Becoming

Identity-Driven Goal Tracking  ·  Last updated: February 20, 2026

Overview

Becoming is designed with your privacy as a core principle. Your data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Data Storage

All data you enter in Becoming — including goals, subtasks, progress entries, and identity summaries — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No data is stored on external servers.

If you use iCloud with your device, your data may be included in your device backup according to your iCloud settings. This is managed entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Collection

Becoming does not collect:

We have no servers, no databases, and no way to access your data.

Accounts

Becoming does not require an account to use. There is no sign-up, login, or registration process.

On-Device AI

On supported devices running iOS 26 or later with Apple Intelligence enabled, Becoming uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework to generate personalized identity reflections. This processing happens entirely on your device. No prompts, responses, or personal data are sent to any server — Apple's or ours.

Widgets

Becoming offers home screen and lock screen widgets. Widget data is read from your local device storage. No network requests are made by the app or its widgets.

Third-Party Services

Becoming does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms.

Children's Privacy

Becoming does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. The app contains no account system, no data collection, and no advertising.

Changes to This Policy
